The THUNDERBIRD fiber laser machine offers an easy entry to the world of fiber laser cutting with its compact structure that does not require costly equipment. THUNDERBIRD enables high-quality cutting of thin sheets from steel and stainless steel to aluminum, copper and brass. With a table size of 3x1.5m, THUNDERBIRD Laser has two pallet design but without lift and hydraulic system. A longer Z-axis can be used instead.

This controls the focus position fully automatically and delivers outstanding results when processing different material thicknesses. It offers permanently stable and precise operation and as well as quick and easy maintenance of the head is possible.

The machine is easily programmed via the Metalix / Lantek CAD/CAM system, that decreases production time and material waste and increases productivity. Thanks to this compact structure customer will have lower transportation cost and faster installation. Roadways transport need only one normal trailer which means less transportation cost for the customer. The enclosure of the machine will not be dismantled for transport. This means easier and faster installation for the customer. Seaway transport needs 1x40' flatrack container and so seaworthy packaging of body in a steel case is necessary. You can avoid from it by dismantling the enclosure as well.
